Scrap Metal~Fie Dream

DrunkenAnt Desu~

Ever since I saw a Dollfie Dream for the first time I fell in love and just had to have one. However after seeing the price tag for some of them were $500+ the hope of getting my hands on one went slim.

Image from http://www.wolfheinrich.com
Dollfies are a Japanese made Ball-Jointed Doll made by the company Volks. The dolls are Highly Pose-able and Customize-able. Customizing her hair, outfit, face and eyes as you wish (Or as much money your wallet has.)

For me dropping $500+ for a doll is a bit much. I'm saving most of my pay check for my sister's college and buying other hobby items every month. Not wanting to give up any of them I started to collect scrap metal while at work.

I work in a plumbing wholesale warehouse that deals with wholesaling pipe and fittings. PVC, copper, cast iron and water heaters are what we deal with the most. My job was originally to deal with shipping products out via the company truck that I drive.
Now I deal with less deliveries and more sales.

We let our customers use our big dumper and yard to drop off their unwanted trash and water heaters out of their trucks and or work vans.

I noticed that there were some pieces of copper and brass in the dumpster, and copper still left on the water heaters

Copper Pipe and Brass Pressure Release Valve
At times we have people drop off their unwanted heaters and random guys come to pick up the heaters for scrap metal. Who ever gets it first gets to scrap it. After talking to a few of the scrap guys I found out they get about $10-$15 a heater.

I had no way of keeping and transporting the heaters but I was able to take the copper and brass off the heaters and whatever I could find in the dumpsters.

If I was lucky I would find a nice long piece of copper like the image above. Most of the time the heaters had nothing on them or a very short piece.

There were times when I saw some copper but was too busy with other work to collect it right away, than when I came back It was gone... another scraper had gotten to it first.

At first i just kept it all in a small box on my workbench.
When I got more I went ahead and went to the scrap yard when I had a delivery to do since it was on the way~

That junk to the bottom right isn't mine... It was there when I got there.

I backed my truck up to the scale and unloaded my metals I wanted to scrap.
(I was delivering water 4 heaters )

Wow~ What a mess...

I ended up with 2 boxes of copper and 2 boxes of brass.
The boxes of copper are on the bottom scale and the boxes of brass or on that top scale.
I also had that white back of aluminum cans, I wasn't that ambitious on collecting the cans but it was a good 10 pounds~

-102 Pounds of Brass
-88 Pounds of Copper
-10 Pounds of Aluminum cans

Brass going for $1.05 a pound
Copper at $2.65 a pound
Aluminum cans at $0.45 a pound

The prices are always changing and as of now copper prices are high. It was the best time to go and trade in my copper.

Now with a nice $344.80 buying a Dollfie Dream won't be too bad~
I'll put my order in for her very very soon~

Rororina Fryxell "MegaHouse - 1/8"

DrunkenAnt Desu

Today I bring you one of my most favorite video game girls~
Rororina Fryxell from: "Atelier Rorona ~Arland no Renkinjutsushi~"
(Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland)
I got her via AmiAmi late June-2012 for about 6,530 JPY

She likes to go by "Rorona" for short as for some reason she thinks "Rororina" is too long and a mouth full..

Rorona and her box~
Smile~
Rorona gives us a cute light smile that just brings joy into my day~
The light coat of lip gloss really brings out the smile of hers.
Her over all cute face and wide eyes are just truly wonderful.
She has such nice hair~ That light brown color and the cut of her bangs are just right.
The lock of longer hair she has on her right side just looks so good~

Course I do really like a girl that can pull of a cap like that~
So round and cute ♥ and it just sits so well on top of that cut head of hers.

Cap and Staff
Her cap and staff are removable.

She still looks cute without her cap on~ Just look at that cute round head.
I have seen her shawl come off, but I don't want to attempt to remove it as I'm too afraid to brake her neck in the process.

Image from AmiAmi

I hate to take photo from some one else but,I just want to show
you how she looks without her shawl.
I'll man up next time and take all my own photos~
Check that cleavage
Shes showing a nice amount of cleavage here~
Even so she still looks very elegant.
That necklace ....... Just draws your attention in even more~ Its very well placed.
When the light hits it just right, it looks truly wonderful.

I can't say I'm an expert~ but I think this what they call a "Push-Up" technique.
It brings the breast up than together to make there attraction power level up.

I have noticed my self being drawn in by them...
She stands next to my PS3 and anytime I come in to switch out a disk, I'm sucked in by her charm.

So Slim

Rorona is very slim, and has some what of a small bust.
Even with that, shes still able to show a nice amount of cleavage.
Its due to that low top of hers and that "technique."
Its barely covering her... umm "you know"

I really like the accessories that hang off her belt.
They hang some what freely and can be moved a bit from side to side.
Who knows what are in those "potion bottle flask" but never less they go very well with her over all outfit and color scheme.

Very nice legs~ They looks so smooth and clean.
The curves almost rival her bust~
They way she stands and how her right calf can be seen is so nice ♪
The way her knees are done are real nice~ They almost look to real but still keeps an animated look to them.

In this shot I really like how the shadow of her skirt is casts on her leg.

The back of her legs are equally alluring~
The shape of her calves and knee pits are just too wonderful.

The boots are simple. They have a good leather feel to them and
they go well with her outfit but, for me they aren't pulling me in with high attraction levels.

Back side

Front
I hate to do this to such a nice girl like Rorona but, some one worked hard on crafting what is down here. So I must cast a lamp in unknown territory to make it no longer Unknown.

Rorona has a nice pair of white panties on. White for me shows innocence and purity.
Very nice over all but on her back side it seems like she has them on a bit too tight.
Resulting in us seeing her shape.

Not that, that is a bad thing~ I have a figure that looks like she has a diaper on.

Her outfit is well designed~
Art done by the genius Kishida Mel he knows what looks good.
(If you love cute anime girls, give Kishida Mel a google and look at his wonderful art work)

Outfit just gives off such a cute feel to it. It has a good "old timely" look to it. It make her looks cute and not too sexy.

She looks like she out to get some work done.
She has her hand extend like out like she wants you to join her in her next adventure.

I would be happy to take her hand and head out on an adventure.

Amiami package 9/05

Another package post, will get to review posts soon >.< this time it comes from amiami which is one of my favorite places to purchase retail figures, you can find them at www.amiami.com

This package contains a mix of D-arts, SHF, and supplies for card protection. I'm currently hooked on the Pokemon D-arts line because its just fantastic and I can't wait for the release of my favorite Pokemon in D-arts form. I personally would like to see Gengar :D

Here we can see Venasaur in its D-Arts form. I've seen some reviews and so far some have been shipped with defects but still an amazing figure at an affordable price. So I'd definitely recommend picking up this line if you are a Pokemon fan or your favorite Pokemon has been released :3

In this package I got a few SHF because I found a couple on sale at amiami and they are secondhand but in great condition (b")b got the fourze SHF for about 980¥ each!!!!! It was a deal I could not pass and a must get for fourze fans. I was amazed to also find deka green who was the last SHF I needed to complete the deka ranger set, it is a secondhand product but in great shape and at a price below retail even though it is a tamashii web exclusive and really expensive in the market :D

Lastly, I ordered some protection for my phone and cards. The phone case I got because it is one of my favorite characters from oreimo and I need new cases for my phone xD as for the card protection supplies are for Weiss Schwartz which I don't play but I'm making a miku deck to learn the game and have as a collection :3

Sleeves for the deck along with sleeve protectors lol and a deck case :3

A rubber mat to play with(will probably end up using it as a mousepad)

Another view at the mat, this time extended to show the image on it :3

I really like the items on this shipment and finding deka green was probably the best thing >.< I'm going to start working on reviews soon but work and games take up my time xD

If there are any questions or requests for reviews please let us know and until next time :3

Otakon 2013 ~DrunkenAnt

DrunkenAnt~ Desu
Its been two weeks after Otakon 2013 and I'm finally getting this blog post out.

Otakon 2013 was something I was looking forwards to the ~World Premiere~ of the
"Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai" finale episodes, and the Original Creator Fushimi Tsukasa along with Director Kanbe Hiroyuki were going to be there.

Otakon for me started that Thursday after work. I rushed home than rushed to Chocokeroppi's house. Than he drove us to Baltimore so would could get are Con Badges early and beat you the Friday rush.

I went right for the OreImo~ <3

Come Friday the rush of people came and you can see them lined up around the building 3 times waiting to get their Badges.

The ~World Premiere~ of "OreImo" finale episodes was going to show at 2PM. Otakon at times being called "Line-A-Con" and knowing from pass experience if you want to do something big you have to get in "Line" early. So I came 2 hours early and there were a group of people sitting around the area.

After some asking I find it its what I'm looking for~
The "Official Unofficial Line" Its just a group of people waiting around before the "Official Line" opens.

After a good hour or so waiting around some one yells out "The line is over there!!~" The mass of people dangerously rush over to the other end of the hall way. I'm lucky I didn't get ran over...
Than after standing in the real line for a bit we were all let in and were given these nice posters before viewing.

It was a good viewing~ Its was such a nice drama punch in the face.

`Cause I'm a little short
The only little problem I had was not being able to see the subs that are on the bottom of the screen as peoples heads were kinda blocking the way~ But that's wasn't a bit problem as I was able to see all of it when I moved my head back and forth between the heads to changes view angles.

Original Creator Fushimi Tsukasa along with Director Kanbe Hiroyuki were there for the viewing too~ The autograph session for the both of them was at 5:30PM.
I had to leave right after the last episode was finished. They had a Q&A session but if I stayed for that in till it ended it would be to late to get a good spot in the "Official Unofficial Line"  for the autographs which were in another room on the other end of the convention center.

After some "Official Unofficial Line" standing and pushing to get to the "Official Line" I was able to see both Original Creator Fushimi Tsukasa along with Director Kanbe Hiroyuki.

I ended up finding out that I was not allowed to take photos... But yea
Man~ Looks too good <3

After all of that it was about 6PM and there wasn't anything left for me to do...

The Dealers room closes at 8PM so I decided to check it out.

Heading back to my hotel I see this~

Some one put Shampoo in the Fountain

There were bubbles in the sky and streets and everywhere else.

Saturday ~
First thing I did was check out the Maid Café.

It went very well~
It was $10 to get in and that comes with a group shot photo of the maids and host.

The $10 also covers a drink and a snack. I ordered sweet tea and a cup cake that my maid recommended. The maid of my table was very likeable. She went by the name Miyu.

Maid Miyu

She was super cute and I liked her a lot.
When I got my drink and snack I told Maid Miyu that my Snack wasn't very good.... That It was missing something... Like missing some Moé. So she used her Maid powers and made it "yummier" by shooting hearts at it after a cute little chant.

After the drinks and snacks we got to play a game~
I ended up playing the "Pop-Up Pirate" game.

Its a simple game of luck where you take one of the knives and stick it in one of the holes of the barrel. If nothing happens the next person goes. However if the Pirate "Pops-Up" Then you have lost.
Maid Miyu made a wager to whom ever lost had to sing an anime song....
And I ended up losing....
Maid Miyu made me stand up and I began to get very nervous.
I sang the Op to "Hanasaku Iroha" "Hana no Iro" by nano.RIPE
I know the worlds but I know I messed everything up

After the game the other maids went up to do a little show and dance.
When it came around time to start kicking us out I really wanted a photo with Maid Miyu~
I know from last year you had to pay a fee to get a photo with a Maid.
I went up to Maid Miyu and thanked her on how well she did~ She said I was a very good Master and if I wanted a photo I had to talk to the lady at the front.
So I went to the front to pay for a photo but to my sad surprise she said they were out of Ink and can't provide the photos. I said "Can't you just send us the photos via E-mail or use my camera ?"

I was still shut down... I truly don't understand why... I know they have a no photography rule but ..... Whatever... I just left without saying any more
It would of been perfect if I got a photo....sigh.........

After the Maid Café I went to the dealers room~
I took a lot of photos of figures that they had on sale and wasted some money too~

I ended up getting "(SQ) Homura, Sayaka, and Kyouko Prize Figure" of Madoka Magica~

I had Mami and Madoka before Otakon 2013~
Now I have the full set.
Will open new ones soon ~

I also got my hands on "(FuRyu) Sasasegawa Sasami Prize Figure" Of Little Busters!

Super cute~ I just love That Hair <3

After spending a lot of time in the dealers room and looking afterwards for cosplay, my Saturday comes to an end.

That Saturday check out the people that were in the
"Line" for the "Dub Premiere" Of "Wolf Children"

Sunday~
Nothing much happened Sunday with me. I just looked around dealers room some more and sadly the day ends so fast...

Over all I had a good time~
I saw many good cosplays, got nice photos and did some cool things~
Looking forwards to next year~~~
